FAQ

What is vehicle servicing?

Vehicle servicing is essentially vehicle maintenance and can range from minor servicing covering lights, air pressure and aircon to a full car service which includes brake, oil and filter changes.

It is a good idea to service your vehicle to keep it well maintained which can help to avoid any surprise breakages, garage bills and help to maintain a good resale value.

In our RAC approved repair centre we have highly trained mechanics who perform quality repairs and servicing. Maintaining service history at a lower cost than main dealerships.

What is a full manufacture vehicle service?

A full manufacture service includes service and maintenance on all wearable and consumable parts your car might need. This is the most expensive service available and contains a wide range of checks/top ups including:

Oil & Oil Filter

Brake Fluid

Anti-freeze

Windscreen Wash Fluid

Brake Pads, and Fluid

Power Steering Fluid

Steering

Shock Absorbers

    Suspension

We recommend that servicing is performed on your vehicle every 10,000 miles or every 12 months whichever comes first, though some manufacturers allow longer intervals. Many modern cars have service indicator lights.

Regular servicing will help reduce costs, avoid potential faults by identifying them earlier and keep your car running smoothly.

Will I keep my service history?

Yes! MOT 7 are RAC approved and allow you to maintain your service history without using a main dealer.

The means you can service your vehicle knowing you are receiving the highest quality service to manufacturer standards without burning a hole in your pocket.

Do I have to get my vehicle serviced by a main dealer?

No! if the same specifications and the correct parts are used then your service history will be maintained, this could result in you saving a small fortune for the same result.

Can you pick up and return my vehicle?

Yes! We offer vehicle pick-up and delivery as well as courtesy cars, if your vehicle is close then we even offer this service for free!

This is dependent on availability so please ring in advance.

Is a MOT test the same as a service?

No! a MOT is a visual inspection to ensure that your vehicle is road worthy and doesn’t involve much maintenance, ideally you should ensure that you get at least one service a year as well as a MOT.
